Solution:
How has the invention of the smartphone camera changed photography?
Smartphones have revolutionized photography. For one, it has increased access to photography. When the camera was first introduced, it was rather expensive and also limited to individuals who had the skills to use them. The large wooden boxes and wet glass plates were primarily part of the photographer’s trade (Villarreal, n.d). Owing to the cost of the trade, trial and error was very expensive. Over time, cameras began to use film, became more affordable and compact. The smartphone camera is relatively affordable and very compact. As they are affordable, they create room for one to learn via trial and error, people to take up photography as a hobby, and even allow people to take several shots in search of that perfect shot (Villarreal, n.d). Although they have reduced the importance of professional photographers, some professionals in the field have taken to a liking to the devices seeing that it makes their work relatively easier. They now have less equipment to carry with them.
