Search for videos from Ted Ed showing the real-world value of mathematics. Choose a video to watch and then provide a one-paragraph summary (3-4 sentences) of the video in your own words. Be sure to discuss the math concept used.

Math has never been my strongest subject, I actually try to avoid it as much as I can, but after viewing the Ted Talks video “The Beauty and Power of Mathematics by William Tavernetti” my view on math has changed. William Tavernetti describes how math connects every subject together including science and history. Math is everywhere and makes connections from the simplest shape, the circle and the most complex connection; fractals. According to Tavernetti (2016) the power of mathematics is that it is useful in so many different ways and that is the beauty of learning mathematics.
