Project management entails time, team, budget and scope management, and stakeholder management. It is through project management that a project’s objectives, planning, quality control, risks, and leadership are achieved.

As a nurse, I have participated in many healthcare projects. The most recent was the implementation of the Electronic Health Records (EHRs) software system for patient health data and information management. Effective project management facilitated the success of the project and was implemented in a timely, effective, and cost-effective approach.
