Solution
There are various types of democracies. These include presidential, parliamentary, and hybrid democracies(Whitman, 2019). Parliamentary democracies have a chief executive who is held accountable by to the legislature. The legislative body retains the authority to dismiss the chief executive. On the other hand, a presidential democracy has a chief executive who is directly elected by the people(Whitman, 2019). In both systems, the role of the judiciary remains unaltered. It is independent of all and any influence from the other two arms of the government. Judges do not receive any ex ante instructions or ex post sanctions beyond their mandate (Kesselman,Krieger, &Joseph, 2019). The two democratic systems vary significantly in relation to power and structure of the executive and legislature.
