Taking into account the blood pressure of Mr. Russell of 159/95, his primary treatment goal is to reduce the BP to a normal or acceptable range. The American Heart Association (2018) stresses that normal blood pressure should be less than 120 mm Hg for systolic and less than 80 mm Hg for Diastolic.  In this consideration, a normal range of blood pressure will play a pivotal role in the reduction of heart palpation as well as lightheadedness.  The other treatment goal of Mr. Russell is to educate him on lifestyle changes such as exercise program and healthy diet for the purpose of managing his weight. The last treatment goal is to lower the cholesterol level from 234 to normal range of around 200.
