My area of interest is related to cervical cancer screening.  Cervical screening is the process of detecting and removing abnormal tissue or cells in the cervix before cervical cancer develops (CDC, 2019).  Consequently, it becomes possible for medical practitioners to identify cancer at an early age, which ultimately increases the chances of treating it on time. Guido (2018) has explained that over the last couple of years, the incidences of cervical cancer have increased significantly.  However, many women in the country typically decline to undergo screening due to various reasons including pain concerns, embarrassment, fear of being diagnosed positive, as well as busy lifestyles among others.
