Jean Watson defines caring as the moral ideal of nursing whose outcome is an improvement, protection, and preservation of human dignity (DeNisco & Barker, 2015). Caring for human encompasses knowledge, values, will and commitment to care, caring actions, and consequences (Turkel, Watson, & Giovannoni, 2018). When we care, we feel and show empathy, concern, and compassion for others. As nurses, we must commit to alleviate the vulnerabilities of others by offering concern and attention for each human life.
