Solution:
I must admit that despite being quite challenging, the course was really enriching and I gained extensive knowledge which I believe will help in improving my current as well as future nursing practice. I feel prepared more than ever to meet the Program Outcome #1, MSN Essential I, and Nurse Practitioner Core Competencies # 1. The Program Outcome #1, entails the provision of quality, safe, as well as patient-centered care based on holistic healthcare principles (Salmond Echevarria, 2017). Through reading class resources, interacting and discussing with peers, and doing assignments, I have developed substantial knowledge in relation to aspects of safety and quality of patient care as well as patient-centered care to patients. I have learned how to incorporate my clinical expertise, with my patient’s values and preferences whilst taking into cognizance their spiritual, emotional, and mental health. The MSN Essential I entails the recognition and integration of scientific findings from various research field into nursing care for the improvement of care across diverse setting (NONPF, 2019).
