Week 8: Reflection on Achievement of outcomes

As the course comes to an end, it is a fact that I have acquired new knowledge as well as insights relating to leadership and the role of the Advanced Practice Nurse (APN). Specifically, it is through learning this course that I have been in a position of meeting Outcome #4, the MSN Essential II, and the NP Core Competencies # 2.

In this course, I have been in a position of acquiring extensive knowledge in regards to the application of scholarly approaches to nursing education, practice, as well as research. Additionally, it is by learning this course that I have acquired knowledge and awareness of professionals standards related to the delivery of high quality, ethical, and safe patient care. From this point of view, it is with no doubt that in the recent past, there has been considerable increase in ethical concerns in the realm of nursing practice.
