Solution:

The case scenario from week 5 was that of an educator in an academic setting teaching leadership styles to nurse students using PowerPoint presentations and group discussions. One skill that the learners are struggling to learn is group/ teamwork. The students have different personalities, strengths, and weaknesses and thus, it might be challenging for them to interact positively and work as a team.

The nurse educator should create an opportunity to improve the students’ teamwork skills including active listening, communication, collaboration, community building, creative thinking, conflict management, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, decision making, leadership, management, motivation, negotiation, relationship building, problem-solving, and team management (Branson et al., 2016).
