Solution:

My area of focus in this week’s discussion is executive leadership practice. The professional nursing organization selected to enhance my leadership role is the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL). The scholarly journal selected is the Nurse Leader Journal.  The AONL is the voice of nursing leadership. It was previously known as the American Organization for Nurse Executives (AONE). Its mission is: “To shape health care through innovative and expert nursing leadership (AONL, n.d).” Its vision is “Nursing leadership-one voice advancing health (AONL, n.d).” The rationale for choosing the AONL is its impact on nursing leadership.
