The primary rationale behind the existence of the government is to give people the ability to achieve prosperity, liberty, security, and justice. This is what that has been described as public good. According to Magstadt (2017), the government typically leverages on its power for the purpose of compelling people to act for the greater society. Various political ideologies have tried to uphold the public good through examining power, order, and justice. Taking this into consideration, this essay seeks to explore the aspect of power, order, and justice, as it relates to the political ideology of liberalism.
Liberalism is a political ideology that is based on equality and liberty. Therefore, liberalism advocates for freedom as well as human rights.
