Political stability has been regarded as one of the most fundamental variables of a country when it comes to achieving economic prosperity. Taking this into account, it is with no doubt that the United States is stable. This is attributed to a myriad of aspects that have shaped the country over the last many years. According to Miller (2017), the United States has over the last many years been credited in respecting the rule of law. Additionally, democracy in the country has been upheld where people have the right to elect the leaders they wish. As such, the will of the voters in the outcome of elections is respected.
